RE:  NOTICE OF INTENT TO RESORT TO COLLECTIVE JOB ACTION:  2019 CBN DISPUTE

We refer to the above matter and advise that NEWUZ has given notice of intent to resort to Collective Job Action in terms of the law.  The Energy Industry Employers Association has refused to come before a duly appointed Arbitral Tribunal for the 2019 CBN dispute to be heard.  This action is calculated to paralyse the dispute resolution platform and avoid addressing the incapacity of employees which has not been solved by their paltry 50% offer.

We note with concern that employers have repeatedly disregarded dispute resolving platforms at the expense of the suffering employees, this should be stopped now!

We therefore call upon all workers to prepare for this massive action least we continue to suffer.  The scope and timing of the action shall be advised.  Please do not act on the signal or advise from anyone else.

Please revert to the undersigned for any clarification.

AMANDLA!

Regards
