RE:   Update on 2019 collective bargaining negotiations

We advise that parties met at the NEC today 9 September 2019 in respect of the above and no agreement was reached between them.

The parties last position was as follows:

The matter was referred to the General Council in terms of the Constitution.  Parties agreed that the said General Council meet on Wednesday 11 September 2019 to map the way forward.  The Unions advised the employer party that the employees are incapacitated and may not be able to come to work every day.
