SUBJECT:  Update on ZESA collective bargaining negotiations

We refer to the above matter and advise that parties met today 29 March 2011 at Kadoma and attempted to resolve the dispute without success.

Management increased their offer to 12.5% of basic pay which was rejected by the Unions.  Accordingly, the matter has been referred to Voluntary Arbitration.

We further advise that the Unions have chosen Cde Munyaradzi Gwisai as their Arbitrator.  We hope that the matter shall be resolved without further delay.

Please revert to the undersigned for any clarification.

Regards,

T. Masvingwe

General Secretary
